I adopted a beautiful cat named “Mack” on Sunday, April 18, 2021. He was on the
“Forget Me Not” list and had been at the Golden Valley location of Animal Humane Society for over five weeks. He was very shy, timid, skittish, frightened, and scared. I was blessed to be able to adopt this beautiful animal when no one else wanted to give this little guy a chance. Since then, with love and patience, he has opened up to me so much! He plays and meows. He rubs and cuddles with me and sleeps in bed with me every night! He is so sweet!! I love to spoil him! He eats and drinks well! I love him so...

My husband and I went to Animal Humane Society

My husband and I went to Animal Humane Society on a Friday evening hoping to find a dog to fill the hole that losing our 11-year-old GSD had left in our lives. As soon as I looked in her eyes, we knew that Padme was the one! We could not believe it when we were told that she had been adopted and returned twice before we met her! She has been nothing but a joy! She has added so much fun and energy to our family and gets along wonderfully with our 8-year-old GSD mix! She and I started puppy classes last week and it is so fun! Looking forward to many years with this sweet girl! - Veteran
