The Minnesota Zoo has an amazing corps of 551 volunteers who support our mission, vision and values with their time, talent and treasure. Since the Zoo opened in 1978, volunteers have donated nearly 3.5 million hours of service to the Zoo. The value of those hours represents tens of millions of dollars! That's pretty impressive!
